A senior Developer is sought by an award-winning e-commerce company based in Marsa. The role will suite a self motivated person able to work with very little supervision. Ideally you will have managed your own small team in your previous role(s).

As part of Overland’s team, you will work with the latest SEO and web development techniques. Knowledge of web based development, as well as object oriented programming is a must. Experience of other web based frameworks such as Python/Django and the ability to implement the WordPress publishing platform will be considered highly valuable.

We are looking for a highly capable person able to:

• Develop new websites on PHP, LAMP, WordPress environments.
• Maintain/Enhance/fix bugs on existing web applications
• Administer the companies web server (Linux/Solaris)
• Administer multiple databases(Mysql 5x)

Other Beneficial Skills

• Hand coding experience
• Content Management System experience (e.g., Joomla/Wordpress)
• Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years company web development experience.
